Network Virtualization Premise Equipment with an Intel® Atom Refresh Quad Core processor, suitable for deploying virtual networks in multiple edge offices
QNAP's QuCPE-3032 Network Virtualization Premise Equipment is a universal virtualization platform specifically designed for SMBs. The QuCPE-3032 is equipped with the powerful Intel® Atom Refresh quad-core processor, supporting hardware acceleration technologies such as Intel® QAT, Smart NIC SR-IOV, and DPDK, and offers eight 2.5 GbE RJ45 ports and two 10 GbE SFP+ ports. With enhanced bandwidth and processing power for running VNFs and connecting SD-WAN (supporting VPN/WireGuard), the QuCPE-3032 is suitable for multi-user and multitasking business applications. The QuCPE-3032 also features the QNE (QNAP Network Equipment) operating system for chaining VNF services and the AMIZ Cloud centralized deployment and management platform for flexible zero-touch provisioning.

Building a cross-site network infrastructure for SMBs and micro-enterprises
QNAP's powerful QuCPE integrates the QuWAN SD-WAN solution, the AMIZ Cloud Platform, and WireGuard VPN. Small and micro businesses can flexibly build a multi-site network infrastructure by deploying a QuCPE Series 7 at their headquarters and a QuCPE Series 3 at their branch offices and workstations.

Easy deployment of virtual network environments with the 2-in-1 Premise Equipment
When implementing virtualized environments, companies often opt for expensive enterprise solutions on edge servers or free solutions with limited technical support—a difficult decision for SMBs with limited resources. Furthermore, running multiple VMs simultaneously can impact network performance. QNAP's QuCPE Network Virtualization Premise equipment combines hardware acceleration technologies, QNAP's proprietary QNE Network operating system, and the centralized AMIZ Cloud management platform to help SMBs build a highly optimized virtual network infrastructure.

The QNE Network operating system completes your virtual network infrastructure
QNAP's proprietary QNE Network operating system supports the intuitive Network Service Composer and Software-Defined WAN (SD-WAN), enabling flexible network deployment and multi-site network infrastructure expansion. By supporting Virtual Network Functions (VNFs), virtual machines, and containers, QNE Network integrates network, computing, and application services to realize network virtualization, application virtualization, and efficient management, significantly reducing the complexity of management and maintenance.

AMIZ Cloud – powerful centralized VM management platforms
The AMIZ Cloud central management platform enables IT staff at headquarters to centrally monitor all edge devices, virtual machines, and containers. The QuCPE-3032 supports troubleshooting and remote management via the account center, helping companies achieve zero-touch provisioning, increasing IT deployment efficiency and reducing maintenance costs.

Efficient management via Service Composer with visualized topology
With the Network Service Composer's visualized topology, you can easily set up VNFs or VMs, create virtual switches, and assign physical network resources for chained services using drag and drop. If settings change, you can add or remove individual VNFs directly from the Service Composer, significantly simplifying operational network configuration.

SD-WAN enables the chaining of network services
QNE integrates QNAP's subscription-free QuWAN SD-WAN solution to form encrypted VPN tunnels with other QNAP devices at multiple sites and achieve multi-site network service chaining. For example, you can automatically create a firewall network (using QuWAN and pfSense VNFs) to enhance WAN security via drag-and-drop in the Service Composer UI.

Optimize LAN/WAN performance
Service Composer also supports SR-IOV and QuWAN SD-WAN, which greatly improves the WAN transmission of the QuCPE-3032 running QuWAN, while providing users with fast and secure LAN and WAN network transmission.

Increased security
You can automatically create a firewall network (using QuWAN and pfSense VNFs) to increase WAN security in the Service Composer UI using drag-and-drop.

Run VM/VNF directly on QuCPE
QNE Network inherits versatile virtual applications from the QNAP QTS system. QuCPE can simultaneously run multiple virtual machines, software containers, and even custom virtual machines in Virtualization Station and Container Station, helping SMBs improve deployment and management flexibility while reducing hardware costs.

Intel hardware acceleration technologies increase the performance of virtual networks
The QuCPE-3032 Network Virtualization Premise Equipment is specifically designed to run virtualization applications and leverages multiple Intel hardware acceleration technologies to provide direct access to the hardware, improving the transmission performance of VMs and virtual networks.

DPDK (Data Plane Development Kit)
Allows data to bypass the operating system kernel and go directly into user space to provide double the packet transfer rate (Total T/R x L2) and improve the overall performance of the virtualization application.

Smart NIC SR-IOV (Single Root I/O Virtualization)
By installing an SR-IOV-compliant PCIe SmartNIC, you can allocate bandwidth resources from a physical network card directly to VMs. Because traffic bypasses the hypervisor vSwitch, it helps improve I/O throughput and network efficiency, ensuring reliable VM applications and lower CPU overhead.

Intel QAT (Intel QuickAssist Technology)
Offloads computationally intensive compression and improves IPsec cryptography VPN performance.

Intelligent IT tools for efficient network management
QNE Network provides comprehensive management capabilities for intelligent IT network management.

Notification Center
Consolidates QTS system events and alarms and provides a single-app notification solution, instead of having to configure individual settings in multiple apps. Notifications can be sent via email, SMS, and other communication apps.

QuLog Center
Centralizes the statistical classification of error/warning events and accesses and supports IT staff in monitoring and responding to potential system risks.

Security Center
Provides security management for IT staff, including SSL certificate management. Additional features include automatic detection of history changes to prevent malicious modifications.

Zabbix
Zabbix is a third-party solution that automatically discovers devices and monitors network status. Zabbix provides user-friendly topology and network reports suitable for managing enterprise networks.

Supports third-party virtual network features
The App Store and VM offers several free and premium VNF and applications that users can install if needed.

Notes
QuCPE QNE Network allocates the full capacity of the 2.5-inch drives as an application volume. VM, container, and vDisk data are stored in the application volume by default. If two identical 2.5-inch drives are installed in the QuCPE-3032, they are configured as RAID 1 by default in the QNE Network Edition. All storage management features in the QTS OS (such as creating storage pools for file storage and snapshots) are not supported by QuCPE QNE Network Edition.
