2.5-slot design
The Prime GeForce RTX 5080 features a 2.5-slot design with a carefully arranged layout for the shroud, heatsink, and heatpipes to allow the three Axial-tech fans to utilize the case side panel ventilation and deliver optimal thermal performance.

AXIAL TECH UPGRADES
The three proven Axial-Tech fans feature a smaller hub that allows for longer blades and a locking ring that increases downward air pressure for lower temperatures, less noise, and higher performance

0dB TECHNOLOGY
All three fans shut down when GPU temperatures drop below 50 degrees Celsius, allowing you to play less demanding games or complete light tasks in relative quiet. The fans turn back on when temperatures rise above 55 degrees Celsius and adjust to a speed curve that balances performance and acoustics for work and play.

DOUBLE BALL BEARING FAN
Different bearing types have unique advantages and disadvantages. Ball bearings are characterized by their durability and can last up to twice as long as plain bearings.

VAPOR CHAMBER
A vapor chamber and heatsink absorb the heat from the graphics card, ensuring top-notch performance in a variety of scenarios.

VENTILATED BACKPLATE

MAXCONTACT DESIGN
MaxContact is a proprietary ASUS manufacturing process that increases the surface area of the heat spreader that sits on top of the GPU by 5% compared to conventional designs. Combined with a comprehensive heatsink array and powerful Axial-Tech fans, this improves temperatures by up to 2°C.

PHASE-CHANGE GPU THERMAL PAD
A high-quality phase-change GPU thermal pad that effectively fills the gaps between the GPU and the heatsink by melting, providing excellent thermal conductivity and improved heat dissipation, ensuring optimal performance and longevity of graphics cards under high load.

ASUS GPU GUARD & BRACKET
ASUS GPU Guard secures all four corners with adhesive to reduce the risk of cracks, while a GPU bracket ensures even contact pressure and additional stability.

PROTECTIVE BACKPLATE
The board is reinforced by a backplate, which provides additional structural rigidity and helps prevent the circuit board from bending and protects the components and traces from damage.

STAINLESS STEEL BRACKET
The bracket is made of grade 304 stainless steel, selected for its strength and high corrosion resistance.
