The Japanese macaque looks over at me in a friendly manner. It almost looks as if it's smiling. It tilts its bushy head with its small, reddish face: Do you have a treat for me? Who could resist? Like all monkeys, this macaque loves fresh fruit. If it's sweet, like bananas, it especially enjoys eating the snack. The Japanese macaque is curious and sociable, and enjoys making friends. After the initial introduction, it'll certainly let you stroke its thick fur on its back.
