The traditional PoE standard supports up to 15.4W, which is often sufficient for standard components like access points. But what do you do if a network camera or access point requires more power? LevelOne's POS-4000 is a PoE splitter that provides PoE functionality to any network device with high power requirements.

When used in a PoE network, the POS-4000 can transfer the power supplied by the PSE (Power Sourcing Equipment) to the non-PoE-enabled device. This allows for simple and flexible installation. The POS-4000 provides a maximum DC12V/2.5A.

The POS-4000 can be used with LevelOne's high-power PoE injector, the POI-4000. This allows for up to 100m of distance to be bridged for high-power PDs (powered devices) that require more than 15.4W of power.
