Add four 10Gbps USB ports (3x USB-A and 1x USB-C) to a USB-C enabled laptop and power and charge the host device with Power Delivery 3.0.

This USB Type-C hub with USB-C DP Alt Mode output and 100W USB Power Delivery pass-through adds four USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10Gbps) ports (3x USB-A, 1x USB-C) to a USB-C enabled computer. The hub supports USB-C DP Alt Mode on the downstream USB-C port, allowing you to connect portable USB-C or desktop monitors. Connect the USB hub to a laptop's USB-C port using the integrated 30cm USB-C host cable. Charge a host laptop by connecting its USB-C power adapter to the USB Power Delivery (PD) 3.0 port. Backward compatibility with USB 2.0 devices (480 Mbit/s) ensures support for a wide range of modern and older USB peripherals (e.g., external storage devices – thumb drives, HDDs/SSDs, HD cameras, mice, keyboards, webcams, and audio headsets). The USB hub supports Wake on USB and has a compact size, making it easy to transport when traveling.

USB-C DP Alt Mode video output

The downstream USB-C port on this USB hub supports both 10 Gbps data transfer and USB-C DP Alt Mode, with support for resolutions up to 4K 60Hz. This allows users to connect either a USB data peripheral or a portable USB-C or desktop monitor. The USB-C port delivers 12W (5V/2.4A) of power to support portable USB-C monitors or to power and charge other USB peripherals. This integration is particularly valuable for increasing productivity in professional environments, providing either video or USB 10Gbps performance depending on user requirements.

USB power delivery pass-through

This USB hub features USB Power Delivery 3.0 pass-through (up to 100W). Connect a power source to the PD pass-through port to power the host, the hub, and an external display, and enable full charging capabilities for the USB peripheral ports. PD 3.0 features Fast Role Swap (FRS) to prevent USB data interruption when switching power sources (e.g., from a USB-C power adapter to bus power).

Power the hub with a connected USB-C power adapter or via USB alone. The hub requires up to 18W of power, which is dynamically distributed across the downstream ports. For added protection of both the hub and the connected host device, the hub features overcurrent protection (OCP). OCP prevents faulty USB peripherals from drawing more power than they are safely allocated.

This device is compatible with all major operating systems, including Windows, macOS, ChromeOS, iPadOS, and Android. The hub is automatically detected, configured, and installed when connected to a host computer. This ensures automatic installation and setup with any USB-C laptop, including Thunderbolt 3, Thunderbolt 4, and USB4 computers such as Apple MacBook (Intel/M1/M2), Lenovo X1 Carbon, and Dell XPS. The integrated extra-long USB-C host cable (30 cm) simplifies setup and reduces strain on ports when used with 2-in-1 devices like the Surface Pro 7, iPad Pro, HP Elite X2, and laptops on riser stands.
