This 7-port USB 3.2 Gen 1 (5Gbps) hub adds seven USB Type-A ports to a computer, each with its own on/off switch. The USB hub is powered by an included power adapter and connects to a laptop or desktop computer via a USB-A or USB-C port.

Seven on/off switches

The seven ports of the USB hub feature a power switch that allows you to disconnect the computer's data/power supply to the connected device when it's not in use. This means you can turn off individual USB ports to reduce power consumption without having to physically disconnect the device or cable. This feature can also protect privacy by turning off cameras or external devices carrying sensitive data when they're not in use.

Operating and charging USB devices

The USB hub is powered by an included 65W power adapter. This allows all seven ports of this USB hub to support BC 1.2 and simultaneously deliver 1.5A (7.5W) of power (52.5W total), making it ideal for charging battery-powered USB devices such as smartphones and tablets while also providing a data connection. The USB hub can be used with or without a connected host computer and supports both CDP (Charging Downstream Port) and DCP (Dedicated Charging Port) applications.

Add seven USB ports to connect USB devices

The 7-port USB 3.2 Gen 1 (5Gbps) hub expands a computer's USB connectivity by adding seven USB-A ports to a single USB-A or USB-C connector. The hub is backward compatible with older USB 2.0 (480Mbps) devices, thus supporting a wide range of modern and legacy USB devices such as external storage devices (thumb drives, HDDs/SSDs), HD cameras, mice, keyboards, webcams, and USB headsets.

USB 3.2 Gen 1 (5Gbit/s) is also referred to as USB 3.2 Gen 1 (5Gbit/s) and USB 3.0 (5Gbit/s).

Easy, plug-and-play installation

The 7-port USB hub is operating system independent and supports all operating systems, including Windows, macOS, Chrome OS, iPadOS, and Android, and installs automatically when connected to a computer. To ensure broad compatibility with USB devices, individual 1-meter USB-A and USB-C host cables are included.
