The LANCOM IAP-821 is a powerful 11ac WLAN industrial access point. It serves 11n and 11ac clients either with fast WLAN of up to 867 Mbps in 5 GHz or with up to 300 Mbps in 2.4 GHz.

Thanks to its robust, all-metal housing, the Industrial Access Point guarantees excellent Wi-Fi coverage even in harsh, dusty environments. The LANCOM IAP-821 is therefore optimally protected from external influences and is ideal for Wi-Fi applications in warehouses or covered event locations.

The intelligent combination of innovative features contained in the LCOS operating system, such as Adaptive Noise Immunity, RF Optimization and Client Steering, sustainably increases the performance of the WLAN and supports the administrator in professional WLAN management.

Powerful WLAN diagnostics with Spectral Scan
Using Spectral Scan, the LANCOM IAP-821 examines its radio field for sources of interference, making it a professional tool for efficient WLAN troubleshooting. By scanning the entire radio spectrum, sources of interference in the radio field are identified and displayed graphically.

LANCOM security for wireless networks
With numerous integrated security functions such as IEEE 802.1X, this industrial access point ensures optimal security in networks. This means that both administrators and employees benefit from professional security policies in the network.

Zero-Touch Deployment
Fast and easy network integration of the LANCOM IAP-821 and automatic configuration assignment – without manual configuration. In conjunction with a LANCOM WLAN controller or the LANCOM Management Cloud, the access point immediately receives a suitable configuration after network authentication.
