10G Multi-Gigabit PoE++ Access Switch for medium-sized scenarios
To optimally align your LAN network with the requirements of Wi-Fi 7 access points, we recommend using the LANCOM XS-3526YUP. Eight 10G Multi-Gigabit Ethernet ports and Power over Ethernet according to IEEE 802.3bt (PoE++) ensure the necessary performance of the 26-port access switch, providing efficient power to PoE-capable devices without the need for additional power cabling. The two SFP28 fiber optic ports enable up to 25 Gbps uplink speeds, allowing you to continue using your existing fiber optic infrastructure with higher bandwidths per port. Basic Layer 3 functions such as static routing and DHCP server, as well as security features according to standards such as IEEE 802.1X, round out the LANCOM XS-3526YUP. The optional interaction with the LANCOM Management Cloud (LMC) can centralize and automate your network management and switch rollout according to your needs to reduce operating costs and thus increase your productivity.

High performance on 26 ports
The LANCOM XS-3526YUP is equipped with 16x 1 Gigabit PoE+ Ethernet ports, 8x 10G Multi-Gigabit PoE++ Ethernet ports, and 2x SFP28 fiber optic ports supporting transmission rates of up to 25 Gbps. The SFP28 ports allow you to continue using your existing fiber optic infrastructure while benefiting from higher bandwidths per port. This reduces the need for hardware purchases in the long term, reducing your capital expenditures (CapEx). With a data throughput of 292 Gbps on the backplane, the switch offers wire-speed performance even under high load. This makes the access switch a powerful foundation for modern network infrastructures in all industries and application areas.

A high-performance basis for Wi-Fi 7
Thanks to its eight high-performance 10G Multi-Gigabit Ethernet ports, the LANCOM XS-3526YUP is the ideal LAN-side foundation for integrating the Wi-Fi 7 wireless standard into modern infrastructures. Wi-Fi 7 access points or other network components with high transmission speeds and power consumption place increased performance demands on the access layer, exceeding the capabilities of simple Gigabit Ethernet. To ensure the full performance and range of 10G, cables with higher specifications, such as at least CAT6a or CAT7, are required.

Central power supply without additional electrical installation
As a powerful PoE switch, the LANCOM XS-3526YUP supplies connected PoE devices without the need for additional power supplies or cabling. It supports the Power over Ethernet standards IEEE 802.3at (PoE+) and IEEE 802.3bt (PoE++, PD Type 4) with up to 90 watts per port. Thanks to its high power reserves, a PoE budget of 720 watts is available, making the LANCOM XS-3526YUP ideal for efficiently powering devices with the highest energy requirements. These include Wi-Fi 7 access points, as well as devices such as lighting tubes, touch screens, and heated cameras, which can be operated via Power over Ethernet.

Cloud-managed LAN with port templates
With the LANCOM Management Cloud (LMC) and cloud-managed LAN, the LANCOM XS-3550YUP can be quickly and easily integrated into the network and configured automatically and across locations with just a few clicks. Complex individual device and switch port configurations are a thing of the past. Targeted switch rollout via the LMC enables automatic VLAN assignment to switch ports, including practical switch port profiles, thus enabling “zero-touch” device assignment.

Secure Terminal Access allows direct access to the LANCOM switch's command line (“CLI tunneling”) from the LMC – encrypted and, most importantly, without leaving the cloud interface. Secure Terminal Access provides expert functions as well as comprehensive diagnostic and troubleshooting commands for the devices. Some highlights include “trace” and “ping” commands for quick troubleshooting, access to low-level configuration parameters and detailed statistics of the LCOS SX operating system, and secure remote access to third-party devices on the local network via the integrated SSH client.

Static routing for unloaded networks
The LANCOM XS-3550YUP supports the basic Layer 3 function of static routing, thus shifting certain routing tasks from the router to the switch. Predefining network routes across one or more network segments enables faster data exchange, especially with high internal data volumes, and reduces the load on the router. Freed-up router capacity is then available to handle external data traffic, thus increasing the efficiency of the entire network.

DHCP server functionality
As a DHCP server, the switch is capable of independently and automatically assigning IP addresses to clients. The LANCOM XS-3550YUP supports this basic Layer 3 function and thus takes over the IP management of the connected network.

Configurable access control & secure remote management
The LANCOM XS-3550YUP ensures that no unauthorized clients gain access to the network. This is made possible by secure access control on all ports according to IEEE 802.1X (port-based, single-, multi-, and MAC-based) or access control via ACLs (Access Control Lists). Secure communication protocols such as SSH, SSL, and SNMPv3 enable professional remote network management. Furthermore, the switch supports the TACACS+ protocol for authentication, authorization, and accounting. This is an optimal solution that promises maximum security, especially for the management and monitoring of multi-site networks.

IPv6 and IPv4 support
Thanks to its dual-stack implementation, the LANCOM XS-3550YUP can be deployed in pure IPv4, pure IPv6, or mixed networks. Numerous applications such as SSL, SSH, Telnet, and TFTP can thus also be run over IPv6 networks. IPv6 functions such as stateless autoconfiguration, neighbor discovery, and MLD snooping round out the IPv6 features.
