With the ALL-MC116VDSL2 modem, ALLNET is launching a pure VDSL2 single port bridge that meets the basic requirements of a high-performance point-to-point connection using a 2-wire connection – typically a telephone connection – with all the advantages of a VDSL2 connection. The modem has both RJ11 sockets and clamp sockets for the pure wire connection. The additional option of earthing the devices (with the ALL95100 lightning protection) provides the necessary protection against lightning strikes in the area of application. Two Gigabit ports connect the modem to the network. The new ALL-MC116VDSL2 now also has an optional Gigabit SFP slot to expand communication with copper or fiber GBIC modules if necessary.

The ALL-MC116VDSL2 can be configured quickly and easily using the DIP switch as either a master or slave modem. Numerous LEDs are mounted on the front of the device to visually indicate the operating status and connections.
