The double-walled housing keeps the water inside the 1850-watt kettle warmer for longer while ensuring a cool exterior. The 70-degree opening of the lid prevents direct contact with hot steam. The seamless 1.5-liter stainless steel container is particularly easy to clean, and the integrated limescale filter – also partially made of stainless steel – ensures better taste. The precisely fitting filter also seals the spout when the lid is closed, so even if the kettle is accidentally knocked over, only a very small amount of water will escape. Additional safety is provided by the integrated boil-dry and overheat protection, as the automatic shut-off prevents the kettle from running dry and damaging the heating element. The kettle also switches off automatically when it is removed from the base. The base with cord storage allows for convenient storage.
