The NF-P12 was specifically designed for pressure-sensitive applications such as CPU coolers, water cooling radiators or cases with tight fan grills and features a balanced ratio of excellent static pressure and outstanding airflow performance.

Vortex-Control Notches
Vortex-Control Notches split turbulence at the trailing edge of the fan blades into multiple smaller air currents, thus distributing the fan's noise emission over a wider frequency spectrum. This makes the fan's operating noise more pleasant to the human ear.

PWM IC with SCD
The fan supports fully automatic speed control via PWM and utilizes Noctua's custom-designed NE-FD1 chip. This new PWM IC integrates Noctua's Smooth Commutation Drive (SCD) technology, which minimizes PWM switching noise and makes the fan even quieter at low speeds.

Stops at 0% PWM
The fan can be brought to a complete standstill by controlling it with a PWM duty cycle of 0% via the motherboard or a fan controller. This makes it ideal for semi-passive systems that switch off the fans under low thermal load and thus operate completely silently.

Smooth Commutation Drive 2
